First-time visitors

Four things, then we're scheduled.

New puppy or kitten? A pet new to our valley? First herd-health check at the ranch? Here's exactly what we need from you, in the order it matters.

  1. 1

Call us — that's the only way to schedule.

Patients are seen by appointment. Call (406) 676-4251 during business hours; we'll find a slot that works. For non-urgent questions, you can also email us.

  2. 2

    Bring (or send) previous records.

Previously vaccinated? We need to know which vaccines, and when. Records emailed in advance speed up the first visit and let us flag anything missing before you walk in.

  3. 3

    Plan for the waiting room

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

  4. 4

    Payment at time of service

Mission Valley Veterinary Clinic requires full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Care Credit, American Express, cash and personal checks.

For our large-animal clients

First time? Establish a VCPR.

If you need to establish a VCPR, we are happy to come out to your place for a herd health check. Many clients will get annual pregnancy checking of cows, Brucellosis vaccinating or bull semen testing for example. Learn more about VCPR.

After-hours emergency?

If we're closed, call one of our trusted Missoula referral hospitals.

During open hours, we try to see all our own patients' emergencies. Limited 24-hour on-call services are available — call the clinic first.
